How much water pressure can the agricultural water belt withstand?

August 10, 2023

The water pressure of the agricultural water belt depends on many factors, including material quality, design structure, manufacturing process and use conditions. In general, water pressure for agricultural water belts varies within several parameters, but specific values may vary by manufacturer, product type and specification. Here are some general reference ranges:

1. Low-pressure agricultural water belt: It is usually used in low-pressure irrigation systems such as drip irrigation and micro-spray, and the pressure it bears is generally between 0.1 and 0.3 MPa (MPa), which is equivalent to 1 to 3 bars.

2. Medium-pressure agricultural water belt: suitable for general farmland sprinkler irrigation systems, with a pressure range of 0.3 to 0.6 MPa (MPa), that is, about 3 to 6 bars.

3. High-pressure agricultural water belt: It is used for sprinkler irrigation of large-scale farmland, and the pressure it bears is generally above 0.6 MPa (MPa), and may be as high as 1 MPa (MPa) or more, that is, above 6 bar.

It should be noted that these values are only general reference ranges, and do not mean that all agricultural water zones comply with these values. In actual use, the product instructions and suggestions provided by the manufacturer should be strictly followed to ensure that the hose is used within a safe pressure range to prevent water leakage, rupture or other damage. If you want to know the water pressure of a certain type of agricultural water belt, please refer to the product manual or contact the manufacturer for more accurate information.
