     Canvas tarps: Canvas tarps are not inherently waterproof, but can be enhanced with special treatments or the addition of a waterproof coating.

     PE Tarpaulin: PE tarpaulin is inherently waterproof and requires no additional treatment or coating.

3. Durability:

     Canvas Tarps: Canvas tarps are relatively durable, but may be prone to rot or mold in wet or high humidity environments.

     PE tarpaulin: PE tarpaulin usually has better moisture resistance and durability, and is less prone to rot or mold, so it is more common for outdoor use and exposure to harsh weather conditions.

4. Weight and portability:

     Canvas Tarps: Canvas tarps are relatively heavy and less suitable for applications that require portability.

     PE tarpaulin: PE tarpaulin is light and easy to carry, suitable for occasions that need to be quickly set up and moved.

5. Purpose:

     Canvas tarpaulin: Due to its good air permeability and texture, it is often used in art, canvas painting, outdoor furniture, decoration and other fields.

     PE Tarpaulin: Because of its water resistance and durability, it is often used in outdoor applications such as building temporary awnings, tents, truck tarpaulins, and camping tents.
